Default Passed the MSF this weekend and got my license today....yay!!!!

Yes folks you heard it, I passed the MSF this weekend. ;D

Last Thursday on the written, out of fifty questions, I finished first in my class and got 100% correctomundo.

On Saturday and Sunday well ummm yeah, I passed. I got a -13 which blows but who cares. I didn't want to have to do that ever again. That little box-double-u-turn almost made me eat shit. On the emergency breaking I slid the rear tire...lol. [laugh] My best was the high speed 135 degree turn. I did get nervous during testing though and started messing up. I aced the swerve. My bike also started stalling out on me and I couldn't get it to shift into 2nd without damn near lifting my foot up. So yeah I humbly passed the driving portion. It was alot more difficult than I thought it would be. I wasn't sure I was going to pass.

Yesterday I got my little certificate of completion in the mail and today I went to the DMV. I am now officially licensed and legal. Yay!! ;D ;D ;D :P

And yeah, so now the weather is crappy in Fresno. It's suppose to rain this weekend. That really sucks ass. It's been cold and windy around here.

Congratulations, it only gets better from there. Nothing feels better than being legal and "blessed" by the safety gods. Now learn to ride it like you own it! [thumbsup]

Congrats!
The MSF is the way to go (no DMV test), and you did it early so you won't be on the blazing hot tarmac for hours in 100 degree heat.

Now we'll just have to get you out on a few rides. Keep you eyes peeled for future parking lot drills, too.

Don't forget to let your your insurance provider know you took it and passed. Most offer a rate discount.

Thanks everyone. I've been needing to call my insurance, I've been lagging on that. I look forward to one of them rides. I need to get my skills tight.

Anyone ever read that book by Lee Parks, Total Control? I've been reading it and it is very informative. I highly recommend it.

The Lee Parks book is good stuff, but there is no substitute for time in the saddle. [thumbsup]
