Default salmon falls

To give a heads up on salmon falls coming from 49 going to folsom. About 1 to 2 miles after getting on the road after the first rock wall on the right. Were the mail boxes are on the right. the left hand turn has LOTS gravel on the right 3/4 of the lane leaving a 2 foot clear section along the yellow stripe. Putting your head into on coming traffic when you make the turn . This was yesterday when i went through. Just a heads up. be careful out there.

Thanks, Bio...

Seems like and more and more folks are discovering this road. A couple of weekends ago (with Taun and Heath) there were bikes all over the place. I heard that later in the day there were at least two bad crashes on that stretch.

You could be seeing the aftermath of one of those crashes. Another heads up: I have notices that younger kids have been taking there cars( ="Japanese spaceships") up there. I have seen these "sport drivers" cross the double yellows through turns more than a few times.

A little knowlege and equal skills is a dangerous thing. :-[

I went saturday and the road was pretty clear except for that same spot. ( i think ) It was leaving a gravel driveway. Also on one of the walls in a left hand turn (if you are going the same direction) someone spray painted a green target on the rock wall. Make sure you don't fixate on that

As I was leaving I saw a red s2r going the other direction. Not sure who it was.

rant:
I wish I could of spent more time there but had other plans. Glad I went out and rode it had been too long. Someday I'll get faster. hehe someday Just kept hearing Giro in my ear.. relax and look throuuuuugh the turn. Keep the hands pink, not purple. Something like that right mother hen

Awwwwwwww....jeeez. : Golly...

Don't worry too much. I took Troy's blacker than black ZX10-R out for a spin last weekend. There was some hootin' and hollerin' from the young boys out in the neighborhood. >

If you are going north to pilot hill. Either 2 or 3 turns before the bridge there is gravel. There are 2 clear spots from the path of cars. Nothing too bad but something to watch out for.

Bio - how about a Monday ride to the hills? Mosquito Ridge? leave town just after morning traffic lessens a bit.
