Default CCMHA Covers What Areas Now?

When I lived in Santa Maria - we considered that whole area the Central Coast. But here I see representation in SLO, Monterey... AND up in Sac and surrounding areas. So what areas does this part of the DML cover now? Isn't this NorCal? ??? I'm in Vacaville w/c is closer to Sacramento than it is to SF... so I figure I can join in on the fun "quicker" here at the CCMHA - I think.

well, we (here in SLO) consider ourselves Central California, cause we all came from southern and would like to think that we are better than those people.

Technically, i'd have to say it's southern california, but i (and everyone else that lives here) have always called it central - so here i am

I always thought of CCMHA as territory inhabited by the central valley dwellers. THose young SLO whipper snappers have taken over.

Rick -
I think you've found the right place, but admitedly, the Sacto DML group is not quite as active as it had been. Keep an eye out here for rides and certainly post up if you want to go take a ride. I heard from another rider at Moto's open house that there's still some snow on some of our favorite rides up the hills, but we can always come out your way.

Also - the central valley folks will also meet up for group rides that start in bay area. There's usually some healthy cross-polination going on.

Hope I can get out with you guys one of these days.
-m

Well, at this point the "honorary" valley riders out number the geographically qualified valley riders.

Central California Monster Hooligan Association

I will always associate "Central California" with Central Coast/Valley - having lived both in Santa Maria and Merced (MerDEAD). But if Sacto and the surrounding areas are included in this group, per the DML - hey! I'm all for it. Get together for all the areas under the CCMHA might pose a minor logistical challenge, but the more the merrier - imagine Cannery Row this summer!? [thumbsup]

BTW, who ""runs" the CCMHA officially and what is the "official" area of coverage under this organization? Is the CCMHA and actual organization (wesbite?)?

I like this perk... ;D

Higgy (aka Monster Hooligan himself - Mr. DML) I beleive was a founder. I think the limits are where ever he says they are.

nice pic - hahaha! Where are the others?
