Smile New to the Forum. Wanted to say HI

Hello. I'm new to this forum and wanted to introduce myself.

I currently live in Alexandria, VA. I'm a 29 year old chick that has decided to finally get my own bike for my 30th Birthday. My B-day isn't until February so I have plenty of time to research all about the MONSTER I have picked out. I currently ride on the back of my boyfriend's Harley back and forth to work and I am SO tired of looking at the back of his head. It is time for me to get my own. I have ridden before, mainly dirt bikes with my cousin and it has been a few years since then, but I can't wait till I get my own. I looked at Hondas, Kawisaki, etc. I must say that I like/love the design of the Ducati Monster much better. And the fact that I can actually reach the ground is a pluss as well. So, any information/advise any of you seasoned riders can offer is greatly appriciated. ;D

Well, I'll say hello to you since nobody on here seems to be that friendly. Welcome!

Thanks, I'll try to make it out some time if I ever get off of work early enough.
