Default DucPond Tomorrow (Sat 4/26)

I'm heading out of DC around 7:30 tomorrow morning for a 9am appt at DucPond (Brakes and ECU). If anyone wants to tag along at an "enthusiastic" pace on Rt 50 (plus a few back roads) send me a PM. I'm hoping it will only take a couple hours for the work because I need to try to get back to DC around noon. That's enough time to grab some breakfast and bloody marys in Winchester.

Also, if anyone needs anything brought back that will fit in my backpack let me know.

Will there be traffic to split? If so, then I'll meet you on Vermont and something, after I fill up. I don't mind riding back during a monsoon.

Where there are cars there is traffic to split. Bring it on.

Jen is a maniac!! She was draggin' knees on the exit ramps!!

Still no resolution to my year-long ECU problems. Donnie tried a second DP ECU today and it behaved the exact same way as the first, even though the bike runs perfectly with the stock ECU. For some reason when the DP ECU is on the bike it runs fine until it gets warm, then it starts idling all over the place, stalling, or getting stuck at 3k. Since it works fine with the stock ECU we thought for sure I must have gotten a bunk DP ECU, but now they are thinking that maybe the DP ECU is fine, but something else (like the stepper) has a problem that only manifests itself when the DP ECU is in.

The next step is to leave the bike there for a while so they can do some more trouble-shooting. I think they just know that the more time I spend in their showroom the more money I inevitably end up spending. I ordered the DP mid-pipe to finish off my Termi system today

How freakin' slick do these new reservoirs look next to the steering dampener?

Don't forget the dual-compound tires you also ordered today.
And the Honda CRX we smoked on Rte 7.

Oh yeah, I forgot I bought those.

That CRX was a good shield for radar guns but I can't go 100 MPH with no windscreen for more than a couple minutes before it just gets annoying.
