Red Bull MotoGP 2008 (July 20) - Ride to Monterey, CA

I have searched for any rides to this years MotoGP in Monterey, CA. Looks like I am the first.

If there is a ride from the San Francisco Bay Area, please post. This is for RACE DAY, July 20th, 2008.

you're gonna ride down ON race day (sunday)? my exp is that's really tough...lot's of traffic and cops, esp as you get closer to track. and then it takes forever to get parked and into track. sucks to miss any action & not have time to check out vendors, etc.

anyway i'm in SF and also curious what others are doing, and open to joining the right group.

from what i can tell motels are BOOKED solid, it's so much better to get there sat night though...

btw, anyone going to AMA racing at Infenion in Vallejo May 17 or 18? i'd like to go if i could find people to ride up with....also they have "bike night" in petaluma friday night which could be a cool start for race weekend?

i've never been to bike night or that track.

I have done it the last 4 years.

Twice in a car. I left the East bay at 6:00 and made it to the Parking/Shuttle by 8AM.

Also did it by Ducati. Same time, but was able to park on the Island.

No worries....
