Default World Ducati Weekend 2008?

Hello!

Apologies if this is not the correct place for this question, but I did search and did not find an answer elsewhere in the forum.

I am trying to find out where and when the World Ducati Weekend 2008 is scheduled for. Does anybody have any info?

Thanks in advance,
Mariya

Don't think there is a WDW this year. I'm going to Italy in June for a week of (Ducati) riding in the Dolomites (lower Alps). The tour organizer says no WDW this year, according to Ducati Spa. Maybe I'll catch a motogp or SBK?

I'm jealous. Bring back some pics of your experience, thanks!

Check out www.jpbari.com. Turn up your sound. Click on the British flag in the lower right corner for English language and check out the videos (they load very slow).
I'll try to post some pix here.

Don't hate me! I ride a Monster! The parts manager at my local Ducati dealer found this tour company (if you want to call it that) while visiting the Dainese factory in Vicenza last year. These guys are the "official restaurant" of Dainese apparently. He says after you eat here, you can't eat anywhere else - it's THAT good. Anyway, the owner is like fourth generation of the business and is a gear head or more specifically a Ducatista. Besides the restaurant, they have eight suites. So they lease Ducatis and package these "tours" and people come from around the world to tear it up in Northern Italy on a Ducati and enjoy great food and accomodations. I booked last year for 3500 euros when the dollar was stronger. Now the package rate has gone up to 3900 euros and with the dollar dropping like a stone in a pond, it's much more expensive. But it's still worth it. Where else could you find an experience like this? I've wanted to do something like this for years, since I had my bevel drive probably. Should be epic and I'll post pix here when I can.

Forgot to mention - Also part of the deal; a Ducati factory tour including lunch on the premises. And Ducati museum as well since it's right at the plant. No photos allowed in the factory, but maybe I can smuggle out a little contraband . . . ?
