I'm trying to post an event, but I can't find the "post event" button on my calendar screen ???

Sorry, but there's just one calendar. To post an event, click the button, and then when you're looking at the calendar, click the button. In the "Post Event" form, select the SEPA board for "Post In:" and it'll appear on your local board.
