Default Need help identifying this bike?

OK I just picked up a crashed Monster from a friends shop. After getting it back to my shop I still can't figure out the year or model. I have a bill of sale only and there is no vin# on the frame, it does have an Oregon re-assinment plate but it doesn't offer any real info. The Motor has the 38 Mikuni carbs and has the oil cooler, Has the Aluminum Swingarm but also has the Non adjustable front Showa forks, frame is gold, has been previously repaired and needs to be straightened out. My plan is to make this into a Race/trackday bike. But I need some advice. I'm located near University & McClintock if anyone wants to come over and inspect this thing for me.

Description given sounds like it could be a 95 M900. The VIN # can be on the RH side of the steering head AND on a sticker on the top LH side frame tube just under the tank. Check for info on the stickers under the seat on top of the mud shield. What's the displacement? . One or two front brake discs? Square or round brake/clutch fluid resevoirs? Is there a small windscreen? Is there a tach? Is the speedo driven by cable off the LH front axle? Do the wheels color match the frame color? Can you see the wall thickness on the handlebars? Is there a choke knob in the center of the steering head? It's alot of questions but it's a good start anyway. DG

There is no VIN# just a metal sticker from state of Oregon re-assinment #. Had dual dic brakes, square clutch and brake resovoirs attached to M/C's, Speedo cable was driven off of gear on front left side axle. No Tach just the speedo. Tank has been repainted. see attached pic. I guess I really need to figure out the motor first since that is the only thing that is really salvageable. The frame is bent pretty bad.

It does have carbs. Carbon fiber side panels say anything? Looks a lot like a 95 M900 as 750's carried only 1 front disc. No tach says 95 also. Frame color and wheel color look 95 too. Now if the handlebars have a real thick wall it's for sure a 95 M900. DG
