With recent post regarding motorcycle theft I thought that it would be appropriate to share a couple of experiences we have had as of late and a product that we just started to offer to combat this increase in theft.
As a dealership we have seen an extraordinary amount of clients having their motorcycles stolen. Not only from outside parking situations but one client whose truck was broken into on his driveway, garage opened and then his bike stolen out of his garage! The sad situation is, in most instances your insurance will not cover the total cost of replacement and if you owe money on your bike I can tell you it is not going to be easy! These thefts effect all of us in a negative way… yes including motorcycle dealerships.
We are offering the newest Lojack product that includes “Early Warning Recovery” not only can the police track your bike, the second your motorcycle is moved you will get an alert to your cell phone, pager or email. It’s like your Duc will start to “quack” if disturbed!
