Cool !
but the red paint on the belts doesn't cut it.
try a single 1" strip of white nail polish on each belt instead.
much better effect.

After watching the video I want to do this mod even more!! I love the open belt cover look and have the Rizoma "lack of belt cover" covers on my S2R1K. Nice work and thanks again for sharing!!!

Looks so nice for a home built job. If it wasn't difficult, and you could replicate that repeatedly, I bet you could make a little hobby money doing that for others.

Personally I like the red dots. It looks like LED's chasing each other around a mother board. While a white stripe might look different, if I was going to do anything white, it would be to mark out 1 dot to use as an alignment tool and would be fun to watch it with a timing light or strobe light to see if you can catch it at that moment of being in line with the cams.

Nothing like a little ingenuity. Nice work. I like the fact that it looks entirely mechanical. I always thought the belt covers were the worst on the 4 valves.

Sorry for my English

I see, that you've found on the internet the belt covers from Mario's (Poland) S4R:

And i'm the guy, that made these windows on stock covers
It's nice to see, that my idea's are also well copied, on the other side of the atlantic ocean

You can follow my new ideas here:

I know - we speak in poland ( in chicago also) a strange language all day long... ;D

Just got back from the WDW/Misano and saw a Sportclassic with Yr belt covers on it, beautiful. Any chance of purchasing a pair for my Sportclassic ??
Pleased to hear,
