Best (cheapest) source for Sargent seat?
Anyone got a recommendation for cheap(er) sargent seat purchase? Best price i've found so far is ebay, $370 + 45 shipping.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/08-11-Ducati-...#ht_4010wt_802
Anyone got a cheaper source?
Thanks

for a 696? Want a tall one? I'm making some mods so mine (on the bike once) won't fit.

I'm after a tall one for 696, yea. I may have a line on a used DP comfort seat which i like the price of, but...what would you want for yours? PM me if you prefer.

Uh, how about I send it to you for $325 including shipping? It'll take me a little while to find a suitable box..

Does yours have the black piping or red? Please say black...not really looking to add red accents to the bike..

Hey Tedder - i sent you a PM. Just replying here again in case you don't have PM notifications turned on.
AZ-Monster thanks for the heads up on motorcycle superstore. Forgot they did free shipping, that helps.

I bought the DP Comfort seat for my M1100 EVO over a year ago and I have gone back and forth between it and the stock seat but have pretty much settled on the comfort seat. It is a lot better on longer rides and commuting but not quite as good in the canyons. Trouble is it takes about 30-40 minutes to get to the really good canyons (Palomar Mountain) so I end up spending a lot of time on whatever seat I choose.
The DP seat has about an extra inch of padding so you sit up a little higher on the bike and it isn't quite as slippery as the stock seat but I've gotten used to it.
I see no reason to spend the extra money on the Sargent seat. I paid just under $200 for the DP seat so it's tough to beat for the money IMO.
