Ohlins rear shock differences on 696

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Ohlins S46DR1 rear shock and the Ducati performance version - other than about $1200!

both appear to be 46mm monotubes with a single adjuster for compression and rebound damping - or am I missing something.
