Ohlins rear shock differences on 696

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the Ohlins S46DR1 rear shock and the Ducati performance version - other than about $1200!

Ohlins S46DR1

Ducati Perfromance

both appear to be 46mm monotubes with a single adjuster for compression and rebound damping - or am I missing something.

Also interested in hearing about this since the Ohlins price is much nicer than the DP price..

Prior to shipping, all Ducati Performance Products are hand wrapped by a team of 72 Italian virgins of indescribable beauty. That's why they cost a little extra.
