OK here goes, I had a Can Am Renegade 800rXxc, it was fitted with bars that were made by Magura (I think ) and they always gave me tingling fingers and I felt as though my elbows were being turned in when sitting normally. Guess what, my 1100s has the exact same bars fitted !
Do not change your bars for looks unless you get the correct bend and height you're looking for.

I fitted Easton EVO Henry Reed on my Can Am and my Monster, they look great on the Monster with the matte black finish with red and white graphics.
Hold your arms out and imagine you're holding on to your handlebars.........go on do it.......right, now do the same on your bike without grabbing the grips, do it just above the grips and see what angle difference you get, none ? then don't change your bars, different, now you need to find out what bend, height and sweep suits you....good luck and I hope this helps.
ps, I had to extend my throttle cable by about 1 1/2"
