Default Ducati comfort seat is, well... comfortable!

I picked up the Ducati comfort seat last night and rode to work with it this morning. I have to say that it is noticeably more comfortable than the stock seat. The cowl doesn't seem to fit quite as well, it is harder to get the holes on the cowl to line up with the screw holes on the seat, but the seat itself is well worth it.

It is a bit taller but I can still flat foot the bike so not an issue for me. I like that I'm no longer sliding into the tank either. I give it two thumbs up.

[thumbsup][thumbsup] ;D

If we are talking about the DP Touring Seat with the red stitching I would have to say it doesn't bring substantial comfort gains. This is the best looking seat (IMO) and it is definitely more comfortable than the stock seat, but still no serious contribution as far as comfort.

I think there are threads that discuss various seats and their comfort, and the Sargeant one is the unanimous victor.

How much taller does the touring seat put you? My 34 inch inseam could use a tad bit more room. Doug

Both the stock and the Touring seat come with red stiching. The Touring's seat foam is thicker.
