Default Rizoma retro bar end vs CRG Lane Splitter

I currently have the lane splitter on my M796. I like them a lot but it's starting to become a PITA to fold them in during tight lane splitting. Been looking at the Rizoma retro bar end mirrors, anyone have comparison or experience between the two? How's the visibility on the retro bar end? Here's the retro bar end I am interested in.

I have a very similar mirror in the Baracuda Bar End mirror. I like them a lot. They don't vibrate as much as stock and they have a very good range in sight. I would imagine they perform the same as the Rizoma's.

Unless you really like the round look, check these out. You could save yourself $150+

Cool. Looks like a good option. Is the Barracuda convex? One thing I like about the CRG is the convex mirror and I think Rizoma retro is the same thing.

rizomas look amazing but have a terrible field of view. i've had both and would not recommend them too highly. the rizomas are not convex

The mirrors I have are a huge improvement over stock.

I'm not looking at my elbows and I don't have to tuck them in while, lane filtering, I've heard it both ways.

Just depends on what you're going for.

I had a set of the CRG knock-off bar-end mirrors on my bike for a while and thought they were great until I broke one. I had a set of the Rizoma Reverse Retro mirrors that I bought off this board, so I swapped them out.

Mine are like this (in black):

I personally like them a lot better and find that they're more clear and offer a wider view without being 'in the way". Although I have mine flipped towards the outside, I've never had a problem with bumping them on anything; unlike the previous set of mirrors.

Looking at the Rizoma Retro mirrors you've picked; I can't see where you'll have any worries with them; even while lane-splitting, because of their design.

Again, IMHO, I think you'll be happy with them.

GL,
Franco

Thanks. Looks like I need to order the Rizoma and give it a try
