Default Monster 1100 EVO Exhaust

Just ordered Leo Vince Factory R EVOII Slip On - Carbon Fiber exhaust from NiceCycle.com. Instead of the Siamese Twin stock exhaust it'll be a single unit. According to Leo Vince the EVO has a closed loop system and there is no need to install a Power Commander and do a custom map on a dyno.
Has anyone else installed this exhaust on their EVO? Results?

Runs smoother, definitely louder but not enough to get stopped. I'm not a big fan of the 2 cans on the same side. Reasonably priced, $575.20 shipped from NiceCycle. Found it at Motowheels.com for $539.25 AFTER I got mine from NiceCycle, unknown if that price includes shipping. The Leo Vinces come in Carbon Fiber or Titanium. Removing stock can and installing the Leo Vince was pretty easy.

Thanks for the info and pics. You say it runs smoother, but did you notice any power increase? Has anyone dynoed this? I don't have access to a dyno shop, so I have to depend on others experience. I probably wouldn't change exhaust without a hope of increased performance, and the stock system doesn't sound bad, but I wouldn't mind it a bit louder.
Its hard to describe a volume difference without reference to a db meter, but would you say this is "a little louder", or "substantially louder"? Can you fire it up in the morning and leave your neighborhood without setting off car alarms and generating complaints from your neighbors?

The Duc was definitely smoother below 4000rpm. No access to a dyno so no data as to HP and torque. No access to db meter but is halfway between "little and substantial" louder. The "db killer" can be removed but I like the loudness where it is now. It won't set off alarms or frighten women and small children. Again, I like it's looks vs stock. I contacted Leo Vince by email and they answered my questions and gave the name of a tech guy if I had further questions. The following link has a sound clip from LV website.

If you want to map it for more power, we can re-map your stock ECU.
Contact Matt@motowheels.com for details

I have the Termis on my bike. Very loud without the silencers in, it will scare women and small children. It however does run extremely smooth. It doesn't feel like it has more power, but it does go through the revs alot faster. I had to adjust my timing on my shifts, it definitely seems quicker.

I'm in the same place you were a few months ago - researching options for replacing the stock cans on the 2012 Monster EVO 1100 and there aren't many right now. I too am looking for a better/louder sound and an improved look. Haven't decided if that means one can or two, but after seeing your install, I'm leaning toward doing the same. I did have a couple questions for you: Did you notice if it made a difference in the "after-fire" (technically not a back-fire) after installing the Leo Vince? That is one thing I like about the Ducati - when you back off hard on the throttle, she'll pop and burble. It's a great sound (in my opinion) and I want that to remain even after going with an aftermarket exhaust. Secondly, I didn't see the exhaust listed on the Motowheels.com site? If you have the link, that would be great.

Thanks!
Scott
