S4rs Tuning issues.... With full Zard exhaust
I have read about every thread and still have no idea on what to do for my lean run situation. Plenty of popping and surging at low throttle. Any help would be great!???

my S4R Does the same thing. you got to get the ECU remapped thats the cheapest thing to do. otherwise get a variable ECU and thats pretty expensive. and or upgrade the pressure regulator.

You can't remapp the ECU since is a close loop system, if you can't get it running by adjusting the throttle bodies, then I'd suggest getting a PCIII for a 998 engine, that should take care of the problem before going a spend a bucketfull of dow on a DP ECU.
Just in case you're looking for a PCIII for that bike, let me know, I have a brand new one with custom map; it might have to be fine tuned to match your exhaust since the mapping was done based on a Arrow full system.

I belive FIM Ultimap has the U59 ECU that works with the Testastretta motor. The U59 ECU is a direct replacement for the stock ECU and is fully adjustable, and does not need a Powercommander. Check with Fred at Silverback Perfomance as he is the US distributor of FIM Ultimap. Here is their website www.silverbackperformance.com/ducati.html

I just went throught this with my 07 S4Rs and the Zard system. What worked for me was the DP racing ECU, Power Commander, open air box with K&N filter, and a custom map = 123 hp at the rear wheel and one great sounding and performing monster. It was a reasonable price at $1,500 out the door for the ECU/Power Commander/custom map.

Sure, when I had my monster dynoed with the PCIII and custom mapping, ran 125 HP silk smooth with full Arrows and nothing else. We downloaded that same map into another PCIII just because we had a spare PCIII brand new sitting there. All I want is the price of the PCIII, $300 shipping included if anyone is interested. I add a copy of the dynorun if anyone is curious.
I'll post the pic as soon as I figure out the way to resize the darn pic., apparently is too big!

I might be interested in the PCIII. I sport the full Termi kit but have noticed the system is running a bit rich for my liking, so I was thinking about maybe piggy-backing the power commander with the DP ECU to fix this problem and sharpen throttle response...any thoughts? Thanks...

The program on my PCIII was developed for the Arrows so it might be somewhat different if at all; myself, if I had to add a PCIII to a DP ECU, I'd have a reliable tech fine tuning that before adding anything that might just give you the same results.
Not trying to talk you out of it, just hate to sell something to someone that really didn't need it!

So with the PCIII I would not have to purchase the DP ECU right?
