Sil Motor conical exhaust

This Sil Motor Conical exhaust is a very good candidate for my Monster (800, -04, no cat). It is sold in "race form" with 105 db or/with removable baffles.

Those who have it are you happy with the sound and how is it compared to Termignoni? I'm just wondering do I need to adjust the mixture or buy a power commander so that the machine doesn't run too lean? It might be so if this is this one of those mufflers that you can see right trough if you remove the baffles. So there is not as much back pressure as in the original.

I had the stainless steel on my 06 620. They are just slip ons so no need for re mapping or power commander. It doesn't have the deep growl of the termi's or zards. More tinny sounding but still a good choice. I didn't have any baffles but sound was not too loud.

Thank you about the info, Burt69er. I found a clip somewhere and it didn't sound very loud without the baffles. But you never know how it is in real life.

Have you any idea of the construction? Is it a "tube" with silencing material on the sides? So there is not much back pressure without the baffle.
