We installed a set of these on our project bike:
SPEEDYMOTO Frame Slider: Mon '01+,MS,SS '03+,748,996,749D,SC, Hypermotard
We used the longer sliders meant for "through the body work" on faired bikes.

We also installed:
RHINOMOTO Front Axle Slider: Ducati/Aprilia
RHINOMOTO Handle Bar Sliders: .625"-.675"

Think about this: "If you don't slide, then you don't need sliders". Brilliant!!!!!!!!

well, that's quite a thought but there are a few of us who take our bikes out of our drive ways.

Well, I've been riding for 45 years and have never needed a slider. Besides, they are uglier than shit. I even took the crash bars off my new Harley.

riding 45 years or sitting on bikes in your garage 45 years?
Never needed a slider you are 1 lucky person because all bikes go down eventully. someone in a car is a moron sooner or later and leaves you no choices except slide it. the fact that they are ugly... hmmm perhaps they dont look the best, however, seeing your plastics and metals scrape, break and bend is also extremly ugly.

Spend $100 now or $1000 later is what us pro-slider people say!

I ride something everyday as long as it's not raining or snowing. I could have used some sliders a couple of weeks ago on my DRZ 400 in the dirt. I fall off my dirt bike all the time.

I used to road race at California speedway in the 70's which I could have used some sliders a time or two. In the two clubs I belong to now, I'm know as the crazy wheelie guy. I just don't do stupid stuff in traffic and I never give a car a chance to hit me. It takes skill, AND can be done with years of practice.
A good starter for young riders is to NEVER think you are smarter than the bike. Never think you have you bike all figured out.

I don't sit on bikes in my garage and I think it's stupid of you to accuse me of doing that since you don't even know me. You just wanted to boost your ego a little, right? Children..............

Ride like an idiot and wear your ugly ass sliders, or ride responsibly and ride your beautiful motorcycle.
