i got the TPO kit and yeah it was a lil much but so is everything aftermarket for our bikes, but we shell out anyway because we love them so....just trying to suggest another option. All i can say is i am completely satisfied with my BEASt kit and poops on whoever thinks i was wrong for my decision to buy it. i think its a good all included kit

ive been looking at doing this for a while (long before i found this site) and i just used 2 k&n filters part number ru-0620 and made some adapters that were about 1 in long that were fit in the tube coming from the throttle body and got the filters that were the same inside diamater as the tube. i just put in the spacer and put the filter on, you cant even see the spacer, just the filters.

I'm not saying the TPO kit isn't good I'm just saying its overpriced, I mean they admit to using two K&N brand filters, they don't even have their own filters made, so basically your paying the price of the two filters, 60$ and another 180$ for the two tubes, metal brackets and some bolts.

If i was to go down the cheeper track of just pods only not the TPO full kit what is the model/part No of the K&N filter fellers with or without the chrome lid don't care?

And does this go straight on to the ThrotelBody or on to the Bent Rubber Hose?

I was thinking of going stright on rather than on the Bent Rubber Hose.

I think either here: http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...px?Prod=R-1060
or here: http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RC-2500
