Fuel injectors??

Has anybody ever used the injectors off a larger bike on a 620 FI? I have a 2002 620 and Have hearrd of lots of people doing this on my car(Audi A4). Are they interchangeable?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Fuel injectors??

The injectors for the newer 2V Monsters are all the same. Part # 280.4.007.1A FWIW these are about $520 retail. The 4V Monsters use an injector like the older Superbikes and wont fit the Monster throttlebodies.

Yep, Im probably that guy.

If needed I can be reached at Ducman851@Yahoo.Com

Its been fun kids.

Re: Fuel injectors??

injector capacity is the least of the 620s problems. the 1000 uses the same injectors - iwp043 brown band weber pico.

$1200 for a set of injectors?

Check out RC Engineering Inc, www.rceng.com. They supply injectors for all sorts of high performance applications, most of them are from $80 - $100 each.

I see you found that other thread on fuel injectors:
http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/...ctor-info.html

FYI, if nozzle pattern and flow matching is important to you, Russ Collins (RC Engineering) can do that too (assuming they have injectors that will fit a Monster). I just picked up a set of RC injectors for my BMW R1100S that are flow matched to within a 1/4% at 80% duty cycle.
