I checked out the site, but it says that they no longer have the super nova light. Is the Supa Brake the light because it looks like its a wire and not a light.
Sorry for the tech ignorance, but i'm new to this. Is the supa nova the light? What exactly is the Supa Brake.

JS-Don't worry about it, everyone starts somewhere. I don't know what the Super Nova is (though from the sound I assume it's a brighter tail light, which is intended to increase visibility and therefore, safety), but the Supa Brake is a type of modulator, meaning it modulates frequency. In this case, in the existing tail light on your bike. In simple terms, you plug the modulator (wire) into your existing wiring harness and it makes your exisiting tail light blink when you apply the brakes, as opposed to a steady "on" position. The idea is that people driving behind you are more likely to see the blinking light when you slow down or stop and, therefore, avoid smashing into you from behind. Personally, I like to use anything that will keep me even a little safer, in this case by increasing my visibility to other drivers, so I installed one, and I'm happy with it. A lot of people make different mods for different reasons; some value cosmetics, some value safety, some value performance. My advice at this point is to do more reading. Google the words 'motorcycle modulators' for example and read up, go to the Vizi Tech website and read about their products, all this stuff I just talked about is on there. Feel free to ask questions, but learning about the basics and knowing what you want to accomplish is really up to you. Like I said, my advice is to do some reading, most of the answers are out there if you look hard enough, and you'll learn a lot more that way than asking one or two specific questions on a forum. Take care and good luck.

Thanks Lord. I agree and really want to get the stop alert feature. I'm waiting for motocreations to release their tail light. It has integrated turn signals with stop alert. I really like the viz-tec supa nova b/c it has the same features and is brighter, but they stopped making it.
Thanks again for the advice and i'll post some pics or vid after i get the moto tail light. Right now i can't wait to get the evotech tail kit and my first service done this week.

Best is what you have done.
we are modding so it doesn't look like another one's bike.
So what i did was cut the tail with a saw and made some diavel style licence plate holder to my bike.

Just did mine from DucatiMonsterTailChop.com over the weekend. Went with the integrated tail light they offer too. Both are great quality and easy to install.

I just installed MonsterTailChop's Stealth kit and L O V E. It looks sooooo good, the way that the Monster shouild have looked stock. The kit went on without a hitch and was rather quick to install. Needless to say it looks great. I also installed their smoke integrated LED turn signal an love that as well. It sells for $80. There are others on ebay/amazon for between $40-80 but the MonsterTailChop one really is high quality and exellent functionality. With the stealth kit, your license plate is relocated underneath the seat so the built-in white LED plate light in the tail light only shines on the tire; looks sweet though. Will post pics of it all in a day or two.

The kit just above me being an exception, I never found a kit that i liked off the web. So i went my own way. Heres the link to a previous thread i did.
http://www.ducatimonster.org/forums/...nder-chop.html
I installed Hyper Lights as my breaks and turn signals. They're about 90$ at my shop and they come with a Modulator, so when i break they blink for 10 seconds then go solid. They're the brightest lights on the market and impossible to miss (provided people are looking in the 1st place =P ). All did all my work at a local hobby shop and spent less then $120. minus i few rough edges that i have to clean up, i think it looks better then 99% of the kits out there and was alot cheaper. Point im getting at is, do it yourself mate =)
