Congrats to you all....about time some other folks besides myself got the Zard system.* [thumbsup]

Troylee, you should have received more than one spring.

As for installation, I have noticed that the right side can (the clutch side) can "twist" a bit since the connection point (s-pipe to the mid-pipe) acts a bit like a pivot point. If I had to gripe about the Zard system, I think that using the stock muffler point to mount the new system is a bit problematic. I like the idea of it, it just needed better mounting hardware.

Anyways, if you guys notice the same thing, please let me know. If any of you installed the right side can and have not had any issues, I am curious to see which of the hardware (that Zard had supplied) you used.

Otherwise, I think the quality is exceptional.* [thumbsup]

Mike

thanks for the spring info. my right side also twists a little. once it gets hot it tightens up. installs easy, no fittment problems. I also think the mid point mount could use some improvement. the hardware kit must be universal. I got the hodge podge bag. nice carbon and perfect welds, i thought. i guess i have to get a few more springs.

Yeah, I think you're right about the hardware bag. It's just a mix of bunch of small washers, bolts, nuts, etc. Typical Italian aftermarket accessories....no manual, and you have to make it fit on your own. [laugh]

That's weird you got shortchanged on the springs. I got the exact number needed, which was 3, I think.

Not much to add yet, other than stating my excitement. I'm clicking refresh every hour tracking my FedEx shipment from LoudBike.com and my Zard system for my S2R is due to arrive tomorrow, and I'm off work. Can't wait to do the install. Hopefully I'll have the right number of springs and the same bag of parts for the install. Pics and details to follow. Now if it would only stop raining so much here I could look forward to some sunny riding this weekend with a bad a$$ new sound..

Guys - Given there are no installation instructions or listing of included hardware - let's help each other out - I've taken a picture of the hardware included with my S2R1000 Zard system.

Is this the same as yours? I want to ensure I have everthing before I start - I have 4 springs in my KIT.
