I've got a Givi T430. Mounts with suction cups, but has a mounting plate with the cups and four quick releases which attach the bag to the plate so it comes off and goes on quickly and cleanly. Has pack straps as well so it can be used as a back pack. Not sure it qualifies as "moderate" sized at 18 liters, but that's a personal call. I use a Ducati pocket bag for most day to day riding, as that holds everything I tend to take with me and also attaches and detaches very quickly.
