So I bought this bike, but a battery and new plugs in it, and she started right up - she idled fine...
I had no problem with the plates (VIN # was squeaky clean) but I had to relube a sticky throttle and replace footpegs and mirrors before attempting to ride to gas station to put fresh gas in. So today I got all of this taken care of....... AND NOW IT WON"T START!!!!!
It will start for a couple seconds on choke and then die. Seems like a carb issue, or maybe bad gas? any ideas? I really don't want to have to get into the carbs if avoidable, and it was idling fine a couple weeks ago. I have changed the fuel filter.
