Default Removing throttle body

Hello all,

I have a Monster 900 that I'm doing an engine swap on. It's a '99. The old engine is broken (many issues with it). I have a used engine that I'm going to put onto the bike, and right now they are sitting side-by-side on the floor of my garage. The used engine isn't 100% complete, so I'm taking the few missing pieces off the old engine and putting them on the used one.

So, the question I have is just how the heck do I remove the throttle body from the old engine? The nuts are located very close to the body, so I can't get a socket on them. In addition, I can't get a wrench, adjustable wrench, adjustable pliers, or any other tool to really grip the nuts and turn them.

The Ducati repair manual has a whole sentence dedicated to this step. It says "Remove the throttle body". Um, yeah, having a bit of hard time.

Thanks for any help!
