2006 Monster S2R 1000 (Las Vegas Area)
11,000 Miles
600 mile and 6000 mile service done by Pat Clark Motorsports
I’m considering a bike better suited to long distance trips. To do so I’m entertaining the idea of selling my 2006 Monster S2R1000. The bike has the mileage listed above, has a clean title, never been down, and I am the original and sole owner. All of the miles are freeway miles as I’ve commuted here in Vegas daily. The other miles are long distance touring miles and the bike has never been on the track.
The bike has been cared for by me personally and is in great shape. She is no garage queen but she has been spoiled considerably. Oil changes every 3k miles (AMSoil Synthetic Motorcycle Oil) and service visits done by the dealer.
I have both black keys, the red key, and the code card. I also have the original owner’s manual and Desmo Times service guide. All dealer service visits are documented.
The only thing I would say is the bike is due for its 12k mile service so the throttle bodies could use a sync. Other then that it has no mechanical problems and has always been garaged.
Here’s what it has:
• Arrow Titanium Exhaust
• Speedymoto Clutch Cover
• MPL Tuning Anodized Clutch Pressure Plate
• STM Push Rod Cap w/Spring Bearing
• Barnett Aluminum Clutch Basket (~200 miles)
• Barnett Kevlar clutch pack (~200 miles)
• Pilot Roads II (~300 miles)
• Sargant Saddle
• Oberon Touring Foot Pegs
• DP Carbon Short Tail
• Clear Alternatives LED Integrated Tail/Turn
• Clear Alternatives Clear Tail Light Cover
• Rizoma Front LED Turn Signals
• Scotts Reusable Stainless Oil Filter
• CRG Adjustable Levers
• 14T Front Sprocket
• Desmo Times Sprocket Cover
I am aware the bike has some miles on it but it is in great condition. Without considering the mods I would think a fair price would be some where around the $6900 mark. I’m willing to listen to reasonable offers but don’t expect a response to the typical -50% ‘craigslist’ offer. If you have any questions or want to see more pics just shoot me an email.
