Except for me, who reuses the aluminium ones dozens of times... ;D
Not saying you're wrong, 'cause you aren't, what I am saying is that the disadvantages that the Al ones have for multiple uses aren't quite as serious as some people think. Yeah it _might_ not seal up properly, but I've got one with at least 15 oil changes on it thats sealing just fine - and if it _does_ leak, it'll be a slow weep or maybe as much as a drip or two overnight - it's _not_ going to dump 3L of oil under your rear wheel as you tip in to a corner!
Like I said, replace them if you can get em, it's certainly the "right" thing to do, but my advice is change the oil anyway and reuse the old one if the alternative is putting the oil change off by more than a weekend or so. Don't sweat it.
