I've worn a Shoei X-11 for the past few years and just got a Shark RSR2. Medium in both, and the fit is about the same. The only odd thing with the Shark is the ear cups seem a bit high, and it's a little harder to slip on a pair of glasses. By all accounts though the crumple zones should make it safer than a helmet with a solid liner.
