If you're new on the track (even on 2 wheels) start in beginner, get the lines, then move up as you feel you can.
I normally just register in Intermediate, but move around a little- we police ourselves.
To avoid screwing us up, ride in the right group for your ability, and ride a consistent line. We don't like surprises
