Depending on which way you go.. it's either from the 5 or PCH, Crown Valley Park way to Antonio to Live RSM Parkway, to Live Oak to Santiago (that's where Cook's is), or you can go up El Toro Road from the 5. Live oak is a fun little 2 lane with trees grown over the whole road. El Toro is a 4 lane suface street for most of it.
If you want to come into Santiago from the 'top' you'd go off 55 freeway at Chapman, and go east, cross jamboree and that's Santiago. There are other ways into it, but those are the most common.
It's a pretty easy ride. Live Oak is a little challenging because you can't see through all the turns, there's no shoulder, debris in the road sometimes, and lots of T intersections and driveways. But fun nonetheless.
