Re: Hesitation?
What was the repair that cost $1,500?? You experience is totally out of whack wtih everyone I know, including myself. My 02' Monster 900 which I bought as a leftover in 04' has 26,000 miles on it, the only two issues I've had is the dash had to be replaced, taken care of under warranty and the Cycle Cat rear sets were not properly installed by a local repair shop, causing the rear brake lever stop to back out and lock up the rear brake, simple fix done on the side of the road, added a locknut - which was in the box of parts, but left off by the repair shop. I have 25,000 miles on my ST3, there was an ECU recall when new and the dash both fixed under warranty. At 24K, I had to replace the steering head bearings. And on my 06' S2R1000 I have done 13 track days and about 4,500 miles and had no issues. Other than that it has been normal maintenance. I want to hear more about your bike and I hope othes with your model will also talk about their experience, something does not sound right. - Gene
