Default Scorpion EXO-700

been using this helmet for about a week now. Great helemt for the price. You can really tell the difference between a $500 and a $120 helmet.
my Shoei RF-1000 is a lot more balance and light weight compared to the Scorpion. the shoei is a Large, weighing in at 3.3lbs, and the Scorpion is a medium weighing in at 4lbs.

Quality is great, once its on your head, you dont notice the 4lbs, but i haven't ridden the Scorpion for more than 50miles at a time, (the RF-1000 was with me for a 1200+mile trip)

one of the best features of this helmet is the cherry aroma in the helmet built right in! I read some reviews on them, and they do indeed have a cherry smell to it. Smells good.

The other A+ feature is the ever clear sheild. HOLY CRAP. i always have to crack the shoei open a bit to get it unfog. With the Scorpion, the everclear sheild is 100% fog free, i wear it completely closed all the time. The ventilation is GREAT on this helmet, though it gets a bit loud over 40mph compared to the shoei. You can really feel the air coming in on the top of your head at highway speeds.

I purchase this helmet because the Shoei was unsafe for me to wear. I purchased the wrong sized, and once it broke in, the front of the helmet would of destroyed my teeth if i crashed. If i would buy another helmet, i could get he Shoei RF-1000 again in medium, becasue its much lighter.
i
Scorpion runs 4 shell sizes, the medium is the smallest one. The lens cracks open a tad bit too much when compared to the shoei, but you wont need to if your worry about fogging. theres plenty of air in the helmet, and the fog proof feature is just too cool to pass up on.

I picked my helmet up at Sport Bike track gear. for $129 shipped in fury red. other colors are available, but costs more. Best $129 i ever spent. this year.

Scorpion Pros
Great airflow
100% fog free lens
lens is secure and has very stable stoping points (altogther about 5 points for the lens to stop)
very comfortable interior
The liner is completely removable and machine washable

Cons
Only certain colors avalible for $129
a bit heavy when compared to a top shelf helmet
the 1st stop for the lens is quite big
