I don't think Macs are bad, but seriously overpriced. Plus have you ever gone into a Mac store? I did once and now every time I walk by one I feel the sudden urge to break out a flame thrower and start torching people ;D >

funny you should mention that, i stopped in at the ipod store in the king of prussia mall and felt like i should be wearing all white with a bright green tie carrying a glowing martini and talking about my newest investment in bio-fuel
[laugh]
nothing bad to say about macs, but they sure are closing off a good deal of the population with their marketing
i spoke to a friend that owns a business working on computers and software for large companies and I asked him if he could build me a nice laptop or desktop...he outright said NO, and told me to get a Dell, they are the best priced package computers out there and function extremely well with great support.
he went on to tell me what the profit is on these computers anymore and said most stores are making less than $75 a computer anymore and stressed DO NOT BUY A COMPUTER FROM BEST BUY, STAPLES OR ANY BIG CHAIN STORE, BUY FROM DELL DIRECTLY!
of course this is after i bought a laptop from Staples last year.....something he could have told me earlier
