I know Ben was inquiring earlier, but I thought I'd share with all while I'm at it.

After less than an hour tinkering in the garage, I had finished the installation. No hang-ups, problems, or stumpers to my delight. A relatively painless operation, even for me. Gently lowering the tank, I couldn't help but admire the way the pods now looked behind trellis frame. It almost looked...menacing. I wasn't sure what to expect when I fired her up, I had never heard a bike with this particular mod installed before. I wasn't disappointed. At first, I couldn't believe my ears, surely this deafening roar was a bloated product of the acoustics in my garage. So I backed out slowly into the open and revved it again. It sounded as if a third pipe had been added below me. At idle, the sound of the pods slurping in more air could be heard, and I half expected to see them salivating when I peered down at them. The best was yet to come. Barreling out of the driveway, the bike felt 20 pounds lighter. Perhaps it was because I had sat out the winter, but first, second, and even third gear seemed to come much quicker than I had remembered. It was only on the road that you truly begin to notice the sound difference. Mere words cannot do it justice. The closest I could ever come to accurately describing it would be to liken it to a warthog perched underneath your tank, snarling every time you twist the throttle. Even through my helmet, it was an intense assault on my eardrums. I was very happy with the results.

Sure, $250 is arguably pricey for this kind of upgrade, I'll admit it. It is however easily justifiable if you don't have the resources to fabricate my own velocity stacks and coil relocation bracket. Installation is a snap, and once you hear this unbelievable sound emanating from your monster, you'll come to the same conclusion I did; It is worth every penny.
So then, Ben and anyone else on the fence about the kit, I highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed. [thumbsup]
