Yeah yeah more like hogging the computer so I couldn't answer.
They do call it the "circle of death" for a reason you know

Sucks it turned out to be a little bit of a waste of time.
I actualy have a Yamaha 650 which was practically built for passing the test. So far it has been used by both PT33 and myself to pass the test. Unfortunately it is in need of a battery and a tune up. I am pretty sure you will want to take the test before I get around to restoring it to running condition.
Renting a bike is a good idea. Barring that the circle can be conqured on a Monster with a little practice. Just do circles in each direction until to can do them at the locks since that is pretty much what it takes to pass the test.
You have it right with turning your shoulders and looking where you want to go. Because the circle is pretty tight you will almost need to be looking over your shoulder or at least around 90 degrees to the side. Other than that practice with slipping the clutch to keep the power where you need it.
Good luck on the next test and should the Yamaha run between now and then you are welcome to borrow it.
