I was able to install it for the most part today. I'm still waiting on my Blue Sea fuse box, so I didn't connect the power. I installed the RAM mount, cradle, and ran the wiring through the fairing back under the seat. It won't take me long to finish the power suply once the box gets here.

I removed the windshield mount and drilled a couple of holes in it:

Then I installed the RAM mount (this one is actually designed to bolt to a clutch/brake reservoir, but I bolted it directly to the windshield mount:



It blends in nicely when the screen is re-installed (sorry for the reflection



It offers a prety solid mount, and plenty of clearance all the way around:
