Default Re: S2R Emissions Canister Removal

There seems to be some question as to plugging the hole or connecting the two nipples via a hose. I think I have definitve proof that one doen not need to connect the two barbed nipples to balance the cylinder pressures. But...I am a liberal arts major so please let me know if I am wrong!

Web Bike stated that the euro versions does not have the emmission canister. So I check the Ducati Workshop manual and there wasn't a hose connecting the cylinders.

Next, I used bikebandit to pull the diagram for the US version to match it to the Euro version to make sure there wasn't a hose connecting the two.

Lastly, I triple check the Ducati parts catalog and the exact replacement for the nipple is screw (773.5.061.8B) and aluminium gasket (852.5.025.1A) which is either a short M5 screw (web bike) or a short M6 screw (bike bandit)
