Re: Ducati 1098
Hmm. Something is fishy here. First of all, wasn't Ducati looking to do something in the 1188 range for displacement? Second, didn't they go to a dual sided swingarm with the Desmosedici and the SBKs for the rigidity that it offered outweighing the slight time savings in tire changes in races?
And that looks like someone's trackday bike with busted ass and repaired bodywork. I understand the concept of mule bodies to draw attention away from the finished product but that's just my humble opinion.

(999 nose and lowers, Unknown tailsection, 996 exhaust with round cans instead of ovals, swingarm looks just like the 9*6 swingarm as does the sprocket carrier/hub, the front suspension/brakes suggests aftermarket Ohlins and radial mount Brembos. Of course, that is stock on the exsisting SBKs so not a huge stretch there. But then the rotors suggest by their width and diameter a race kit item. All in all however, I think it is just someone's beat up old 9*6 track mule with some damage and custom/aftermarket bits.)
