+1 on wiring the oil filter. You can put a large hose clamp around it and safety wire to something close. Pull your fuses for the lights so they don't bake the tape on. If you've got a rear stand, you can remove the kickstand...unless your model has some goofy kill switch wired in. Fresh tires. Sunscreen, and lots of water.
I may be racing my first supermoto at Grange that weekend. If not, I'll come join the fun.
