I'd wire the oil filter, I've seen them come loose on Monsters. Don't worry about the rest, Duct tape for the lights. I'd put it over a layer of blue masking tape, or else the heat from the lights is going to melt the adhesive and it'll be a pain to get off.

PS: Oh, and what Greg said about scraping stuff. I know you have stock pegs, don't worry about those they fold back - but do cut that silly knob off the kickstand, you'll scrape it enough even without that thing sticking out.
