This Month's Featured Bike:
Larry Stewart's 2004 S4R Monster

(editor's note: Larry's Monster won Best Monster at the Motowheels OpenHouse Event and was invited to write a Featured Monster article)

I purchased in June of 06 a used 2005 s4r Monster and started in with upgrades and add ons.

I like the look of carbon fiber on this bike, so I started to add a few pieces of carbon and I just keep adding.

The bike having a black gas tank and black frame the look of carbon fiber blends in well on the bike.
I also like the look of titanium, so many of the bolts and nuts on the bike are made of titanium.

All the people at Motowheels have helped a lot with parts that are on the bike at this time. I could not have done the bike without Motowheels as they have suggested
many different things that I could do to the bike to make it a different kind of Monster

The bike has lost more than 40lbs of weight, so the bike has very good performance for a s4r Monster.

But I will say that this bike is a lot of fun
to drive in town and on the open road.
