This Month's Featured Bike:
Warren Snell's 1999 M750 Dark -- Attack of the Carbon Duc!!
While this is only my second bike, it has quickly become something more than just a motorcycle. I began riding about 8 years ago when i got my first bike at 19.
While I was a car fanatic; relatively cheap, super fast and cool looking
made a motorcycle an easy choice.

The Ducati Monster was always my dream bike. It has a look that
has attitude and finesse, brutality and delicacy. |

A modified tail on which I performed a partial chop and then shaved
the Carbon Dreams tail to fit snugly under the brake light. I didn't
like the large orange signal covers so those were removed and I used
screen mesh to cover the light bulb. It still shines through! I removed as much plastic as possible to clean it up and ripped out the emissions and air box. |

Most of this work was done by me in my spare time. Money is always
and issue but I think the little custom touches you do yourself for
free make it special. I would like to thank my dad for his mechanical
assistance, my father in law, Larry, for his machine expertise (the
pipes kick arse!). Big thanks to Strati for having the bit and pieces
I needed. Of course my wife, Karen and son Noah for allowing me to disappear
all afternoon . This board is the best and I appreciate the opportunity to share my work. I hope to hear from other Central Valley monsters because I am always looking for riding buddies. Thanks!!! |
