July 2004 featured bike - LiterLeaner's S4R

[Editor's note: Frank Adams (aka LiterLeaner) was kind enough to send in these great shots of his S4R, so I thought his bike would be our first 4V entry in the featured bike gallery. Nice shots Frank!]

I must admit, the first time I laid eyes on the Blue/White MS4R in October of 2003 my heart stopped and I knew this would be my next bike. I had a 2001 Suzuki TL1000S that was fully modded at the time and had no intentions of getting rid of her unless it would be for the Monster, life had different plans. I ended up selling my TL to cope with some tough times and in December of 2003 my luck finally changed. I found a new Blue/White MS4R in a small shop located in Ocala, FL. After talking with this shop for quite a while, Sebastian, the owner, told me we had a deal. I took delivery a few days before Christmas and it wasn’t long before the mods started.

Knowing I would not ever be happy with a stock motorcycle I started searching every board, magazine and website I could find. I was looking for ideas that would help me turn my stock Monster into a Monster of my own. Although I haven’t really touched the motor what so ever, you can see by my list of modifications that nothing else has been overlooked. I wanted a Monster that was mean looking, sounding and would have all the go power that I desired.

The Arrow full system provided most of the sound and a little more power to boot. The CycleCat open clutch accessories help add in the part of the quest. I removed the front fly-screen and replaced the stock headlights with a dual set from Stuart at SpareShack.

The tail chop, clear turn-signals front and rear and belly pan finished up the look. A few more bits and pieces were swapped and added to my beast as well. All I am waiting for now is the FIM module to be completed and released onto the market. That will most likely be the next step I take with my Monster.
I have been riding motorcycles on the street since I was 18 and none of the 8 different motorcycles I have owned have ever come close to the performance, style and soul of my Ducati S4R.
