| This
month's featured bike - Norm Brown's Gray 1996 M944 |
 |
| [Webmaster's
note: Norm Brown is not a guy who likes to toot his own
horn; he is in fact a man of few words. His work, however,
speaks for itself. When I saw this bike in the DML Photo
Gallery I knew it had to be a Featured Monster. -MM] |
"I
bought this bike as a salvage titled wreck a few years
back.
With the VeeTwo cams, it comes on strong between 5-8000
RPM.
With
the light weight of the bike, you'd better be hanging
on
tight when it comes on the cam!
Most people who see
it just ask what it is, even some Ducati guys miss it."

"The bike is designed to be the '55 Chevy
of motorcycles. Anything that isn't neccessary, isn't
there.
I've been working on & off on it for a few years & I'm
still only about 90% done (the gas tank, for example, has
the best paint job you can get for $2.95).
It
will end up being about 20-30 pounds lighter when I'm
finished."
