 Audi Officially Announces Ducati Purchase |

Audi has officially announced it has acquired Ducati Motor Holding from Investindustrial. Terms of the deal were not announced, though they should be made available April 19 at the annual stockholders meeting for Audi’s parent company, the Volkswagen Group. Previous reports have the price pegged at 860 million euros (US$1.1 billion).
“Ducati is known worldwide as a premium brand among motorcycle manufacturers and has a long tradition of building sporty motorcycles,” says Rupert Stadler, chairman of the board of management of Audi. “It has great expertise in high-performance engines and lightweight construction, and is one of the world’s most profitable motorcycle manufacturers. Hey all,
I've asked our creative team to give us a second vb skin with a fresh look. The new skin has an updated sweet-looking header, and has a much simpler feel to it.
If you are a fan of the old skin, fear not, as you can change back to it at any time. On the bottom left on your screen, there is a pulldown you can select from. Choose "DucatiMonster.org" for the old skin, or "DucatiMonster New" for the new one.
As always, feedback is encouraged, we hope everyone is out riding now that the weather is nice agian, and we hope to see you all on the forum soon!
